At the beginning Id like to say that I fully agree with the statement that in our time the need for religion is diminishing.
In my opinion, the result of such an approach to religion is the belief that the situation in our country is so bad that God cant exist and look at the evil that surrounds us. This is a pessimistic point of view which, in my opinion, share people who hasn't achieved much in life and who feel anger that their lives turned to be a complete failure.
However, for some people religion and the belief in God is an important matter but not as important as it should be. Some of my friends, for example, say that its undoubtedly true that God exists and watches at our deeds, but that they still have lots of time ahead of them to pray. The time of youth, however, is not the perfect one to spend in church and to wait for the moment when God "invites us to his kingdom". There is a question that comes to my mind in connection to the "perfect" moments of praying. Do we know when we die?! NO, that's why we should devote some time to pray not only for the future but for some people bad. We should appreciate every single moment of our life and be proud of it.
To sum up, I think that religion is quite weak at our times but it will never disappear.
